Willow workshops for children and adults
My willow workshops are fun, creative and informative. I love to empower both children and adults to create a beautiful, unique willow piece to take home with them.
I give step by step instructions, demonstrate the techniques and work one to one with anyone who needs it.
My background is in teaching and there’s nothing I enjoy more than supporting people and helping them to develop their confidence. Many people have also commented how therapeutic and relaxing they find my workshops and working with willow.
I offer willow workshops for both children and adults, as well as bespoke group workshops for schools, WI groups, Cub and Brownie packs and Scout groups. I’m obviously DBS checked and enjoy incorporating elements of forestry and craft making into my workshops.

Willow workshops for adults
Come and have a relaxing few hours learning how to work with willow, finding your creative flare while being guided and supported through each step.
My most popular workshops include:
Heart workshop: Create a beautiful willow heart to hang from your door or wall or use as a card holder.
Basket workshop: Make a tension willow basket to display your favourite nic-nacs or use as a fruit bowl using basic basket weaving techniques and tools.
Plant support workshop: Create a stunning plant support for growing sweet peas or to keep your favourite plant in check while its heavy with flowers.
Bird feeder workshop: Come and make a beautiful two ringed willow bird feeder from which you can hang grass seeds or fat balls.
I also offer star bunting workshops, butterfly workshops, Christmas decoration workshops, willow flower workshops and willow wreath workshops.
My adult workshops vary to your needs but to give you an example, to create and make a willow wreath would take 2 hours and cost £25 including the willow, a drink and a cake.

Willow workshops for children
I offer bespoke large group workshops for schools, Cub and Brownie packs, brirthday parties and other children’s clubs.
I design these workshops specifically to suit your needs and the length of time you have available, ensuring that everyone in the group can get the most out of the activity.
For example, for a Cub Pack that’s learning to tie knots, we could make a willow star – an activity that also focuses on finger strength and hand-eye co-ordination.
My willow workshops for children are fun. I make sure that all the children participate fully, giving support and guidance to every child, empowering them to create their own willow creation to take home with them while really boosting their confidence.
